Welcome to Hendon
The Hendon School community is committed to providing quality teaching and learning by working together to create a culture of ongoing improvement. We are a Pre-school to Year 6 campus with an OSHC service.
All of our students experience success in a broad balanced relevant and challenging curriculum that promotes lifelong learning and is underpinned by our school values: Kindness, Respect and Trust.
Our major priorities are Literacy, Numeracy and the Australian Curriculum. We have a strong focus on the Arts and provide specialist programs in Music, PE, Japanese, Science and History. We teach ‘You Can Do It’ across the campus to develop positive academic and social habits of the mind. We provide quality programs to support student learning outcomes including special needs support and support for gifted students.
We are proud of the community spirit and the partnership we have with our parents/caregivers working together to provide the best possible education for our students.
