Mr Reece Campbell, School Principal

As the principal of Hendon Primary School, I am pleased to extend a warm welcome and invite you to join our inclusive and supportive school community!

We pride ourselves on being a community built on the values of kindness, respect, and trust. Our mission is to cultivate lifelong learners who thrive in an inclusive and non-judgemental environment. Together, with strong partnerships with parents and carers, we foster a space where every student can flourish academically and personally.

Our school is a hub of enthusiasm and focus, with a caring staff committed to achieving outstanding outcomes. We hold high expectations for all students, families, and visitors. We emphasise the importance of cultural awareness and celebrate significant days that enrich our community spirit.

We are honoured to be recognised by the Primary Maths Association, winning yearly maths awards, and actively participate in SAPPSSA interschool events. Our students are encouraged to lead and have a voice through our dynamic Student Action Teams.

Our curriculum is enriched with research-based explicit phonics programs (the gold standard of literacy instruction) and we compliment these with targeted intervention and learning support strategies. Additionally, we offer specialist programs in Music, Science, and Physical Education, ensuring a diverse, well-rounded education for every child.

My strong commitment lies in ensuring equitable opportunities for every student to thrive both academically and personally.
